![]() The best part of all is the proceeds go to the opportunity village charity. Look forward to visiting again during Christmas season & seeing it in its true glory. The adult all access pass was $20 the child all access pass was $18 and the general admission was $11. It really was a great time! The funnel cake was delicious and we would definitely do it again. A scavenger hunt that you had to take pictures with certain attractions and then post on Instagram. The part that we all enjoyed very much so was the #Halloveenhunt. My 9 year old son enjoyed going down the slide the most. She went on the carousel twice and the ghost train and enjoyed herself immensely on both rides. Las Vegas police said the stolen tickets are worth about 8,000. She's only 9 months old so she got in free and was able to ride some of the rides as well. More than 500 tickets to Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest were stolen and later appeared for sale on Facebook. We purchased one adult all access pass for me one child all access pass for my son my husband just came in on general admission and he and the baby enjoyed themselves as well. This year I decided to give opportunity village's magical forest Halloveen Haunt a try and boy did we have a blast. It has sort of become a tradition that on my birthday October 26th we visit pumpkin patch as a family. One of the best kept secrets from the strip crowd. We are planning to be in Vegas in late December and we will (FOX5) - Marking its 31st season, a beloved Las Vegas holiday attraction has opened its gates for the holidays. HallOVeen at the Magical Forest welcomes boys and ghouls of all ages for a family-friendly Halloween experience benefitting Opportunity Village. We are closed for now, but look forward to reopening in October 2022. Toddlers 2 and under are free and can ride with adults who pay for rides. Specialties: HallOVeen at the Magical Forest is a seasonal attraction and fundraiser for Opportunity Village. The rides and $13 just to walk around and see the atmosphere. The best part is it is staffed by volunteers and the proceeds go to charity. They even had indoor movies to get away from the cold. Food and drink items were cheap, $1.50 for water and $2 hot chocolate. We loved walking through the trees with all the different decorations (the magical forest). Scared my kids but no crying, be warned for small children. I don't know how to describe the maze as it looked like left over Halloween with the ghosts and blood removed. They rode the train, carousel, slides ( with mommy and daddy as they were too scared to ride alone) and sent through the three d maze. At 8:30pm my kids got several minutes with Santa without a line. It was opening weekend and Sunday so not too crowded. We have been going to Vegas for years between Thankgiving and Christmas and recently discovered this place. I even told them how hard we'd worked for that photo. But I was so upset about spending all day preparing for a photo I couldn't take, I just can't give them a higher rating. If you have the money, and don't go when it's so cold, it might be worth it. The decorations were great, but we couldn't stay long because it was too cold. We rode on a train and went on a big slide, the kids did a bike race, and we played mini golf. How hard would it be to give people the chance to take their own picture for their entrance money? I've never seen anything like it in three states at so many Santa places. For a charity they are very uncharitable. We get through the line and I get my camera ready, and they not only would let me take a picture, I couldn't video tape my kids talking to Santa this year. We dressed all of them up to get our annual picture with Santa taken, and braved the coldest night of the year to go. The cost for that many wristbands is astronomical. Make sure you hand them your tickets one at a time so they don't accidentally scan two at once and if you go at Halloween- get your bag and your map.We have five kids and an exchange student. Hopefully they train their volunteers better and we will stick to going at Christmastime. I understand they probably do have people scam them so I shouldn't take it personally but I feel like it is worse to treat innocent children as criminals than to just give them candy. That's a lot of money to pay to then scam opportunity village out of $.50 worth of candy. We bought extra tickets for the train and ended up paying $98. There weren't a lot of stations, seems like a lot of work to get a few pieces of candy. After we made it half way through the "forest" those giving out candy straight up accused us of trying to go through twice. We brought our own and didn't notice they were giving them out. We get that worked out and were never given trick or treat bags. First I bought my tickets ($82 for 5 people) and the person held all the tickets at once as she scanned and told me one of my tickets had previously been scanned. Understanding most of the people helping are volunteers we had some hiccups this visit. I know this is such a great cause but I was a little disappointed.
